Our very own National Recruitment Director, Robert Babbitt, landed on the front cover of the industry-respected Staffing Industry Review, published by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA). Since he takes the time to travel around to all of our offices to meet each new employee, it is a sure bet that every single person in the ICS family is incredibly proud of him.
This week, Staffing Industry Review has unveiled its "US Millennials in Staffing" list, recognizing a bold new generation of leaders in the industry. Millennials comprise the largest segment of the US workforce and include those born between 1982 and 2000. The list is not a ranking but a recognition of a group exclusively made up of Millennial that are shaping the future of the whole American economy, and includes Millennials in the workforce solutions ecosystem
Robert and the thirty-four other individuals making the list reflect the character and the drive for which the Millennial generation is known, notably their technological-savvy, strong ambition and true sense of self. Though they embody essential Millennial qualities, Robert and his peers are disrupters in the staffing industry, bucking conventions with huge success.

Recruited into Infinity Consulting Solutions by a friend in 2008 as he was applying to law schools, Robert Babbitt quickly made his mark as he helped the company launch a new office in Chicago with his insistence on operational excellence combined with a strategic outlook. With bachelor’s degrees in political science and English, he started his tenure at ICS as a Technical Recruiter. Powered by ambition and a genuine desire to see everyone perform at his or her best, he quickly advanced to National Recruitment Director for the growing firm. Robert took the reins on training and managing new staff members, even as the economy turned for the worse.
With the perks of the job, he enjoys being able to travel and getting to know each person who joins the company. He sees himself staying at Infinity Consulting Solutions for the long haul and looks forward to helping the company reach the next level and meet its goals. Yes, he is an antithesis to the image of Millennials moving job to job to job with no commitment. As the youngest member of the company’s executive team and himself a Millennial, Robert is able to relate to other young staff members and provide suggestions to his fellow executives on how to keep the company culture relative in today’s ever-changing business environment.
Robert is a perfect example of how a young generation, finally taking over management positions all over the workforce, is greatly improving the general outlook even after experiencing a rough recession. “We believe Millennial bring vital optimism, entrepreneurship and positive change to the next era of the American economy,” said Subadhra Sriram, Publisher and Editor, SIA. “Our goal is to provide a glimpse into this generation’s achievements as they pertain to the industry and the evolution of the ecosystem.”

The Millennials in Staffing website debuts this week, showcasing these trail-blazers and highlighting the qualities that set them apart. The list, along with the profiles of those recognized, also premieres in print in the October 2016 issue of Staffing Industry Review.
